Well I stated it last week here on The TNA Tribune…..you do not want to miss August 12th, 2010 edition of TNA iMPACT! I sure hope you didn’t. If you did, shame on you, and if you didn’t, I thank you. But either if you watched it or you didn’t watch it, I hope you can sit where you are and enjoy The TNA Tribune!
This week’s show featured 6 PPV quality matches. PPV is Pay-Per-View for all of you new people. Now there were 6 matches and no interviews. Really if you wanted to see wrestling…..you should have tuned into this show. It was what TNA is….Total Non-Stop Action! It was off the charts! Many are saying it was one of the best TNA show in quite some time. I read from many people that they actually enjoyed it and they usually don’t. That’s why it was…..The Whole F’n Show!

Here was the Match Card:

Ranking 8 Kurt Angle vs. Ranking 6 AJ Styles

Winner: Kurt Angle

Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne (Champ) for the Knockout Title

Winner and New Champion: Angelina Love

The Pope vs. Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson

Winner: Matt Morgan

Jeff Hardy vs. Shannon Moore

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Best of 5 Series 5: 2 out of 3 Falls Match: Motor City Machine Guns (Champs) vs. Beer Money for the TNA
Tag Team Titles

Winners and STILL Tag Champs: Motor City Machine Guns

Stairway to Janice Match: Rob Van Dam (Champ) vs. Abyss for the TNA World Championship

Winner and STILL Champ: Rob Van Dam

Now let me give you my thoughts on these matches:
As I stated above, this show as all matches, no interviews. It went from match to match with just commercial breaks. Let me just say, that’s what you call a wrestling show!!! I mean I turn on this channel on Monday Night and all I get is talking and talking and no wrestling. If I want to hear talking, I would talk myself as my voice is better than those. Now let me get back to TNA. Our first match was AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle. Last week I said when these two are in the ring, magic is made. I remember their match on January’s 4th showing and that was an instant classic. Of course, that went head to head against Raw and just that match beat the whole Raw show. Well we have this match tonight. Now It wasn’t as good as the match then, but it certainly was great. We seen a back and forth battle as these two went at it. This match went from in the ring, outside the ring, inside the ring. It was crazy. We seen AJ get whipped into the ropes, but kept ducking a Kurt Angle closeline. Kurt Angle then ran into the ropes and after some counters……AJ planted a perfect dropkick to the face of Kurt. We saw Kurt hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker during the match and also a wicked moonsault. It was a great match. Now it’s not only about Kurt. AJ showed why he is 2010’s PWI 500 #1 Star. He did unbelievable moves from the corner and even in the middle of the ring with a paylay kick. AJ hit the paylay and went for a cover. He thought it was 3 but only got a 2. He was arguing with the ref, but that allowed time for Kurt to get up. He got up, Angle Slammed AJ and got the cover: 1-2-OH! It was only 2! These two went at it even more. Kurt was going for a german suplex on Aj, but he grabbed the ref from behind. As he was holding onto the ref, AJ tried for a low blow kick….but Kurt caught his leg, snapped him down and got the Ankle Lock. AJ tapped without hesitation and Kurt wins again. Kurt will be moving into the #6 ranking next week when the ratings come out.
The next match was a Knockout Match. I have to say, this wasn’t my favorite match when you consider wrestling and length wise…..but look wise….how can you go wrong?! In all seriousness though, TNA Knockouts aren’t about the look. They are here to wrestle. Now this was better than anything you would see on WWE. These two wrestled it out as Madison Rayne put her title on the line against Angelina Love. Don’t get me wrong, these two look great, but when I watch TNA, I am here to watch wrestling and that’s exactly what we got. These two were battling it out after Madison finally stopped hiding behind the referee. As these two were fighting, the lady in black on the motorcycle came out. She has been coming out week by week and we are just about to find out who she is. It’s about time because I have been dying to see who it is. Now she came to ringside….but she wasn’t on her feet for long as Velvet Sky came behind her and hit her with a chair in the back. She fell to the ground. Velvet went over to her head and took off the huge helmet she has…..only to reveal she is wearing another mask. She was trying to take that off, until the lady in black stopped her with a kick to the head. As that was happening….Madison brought in a cookie sheet or some sort. She hit Love in the back with it and tried for a pin….but Love kicked out. After some more fighting, Love got Rayne down and for the 3 count. That makes her a 5X Knockout Champion and that means she is the most decorated women’s champion in TNA history. Great job Love!
We can’t stop there…..OH NO….we got plenty of other matches to get to. The next match was Matt Morgan vs. The Pope vs. Mr. Anderson. The show came back at the beginning of Anderson’s entrance. He talked on the mic for a few minutes and then went to the ring. The others were already in the ring. As soon as the match started, Pope and Anderson teamed up as they went after Morgan. They double teamed Morgan for quite some time, but when it came time to pin Morgan, they had to put their friendship behind them. They kept stopping each other’s covers as they just couldn’t see their friend win. They wanted themselves to win. Well as they were arguing about it….Morgan came up and double closelined both of them. Morgan continued on the offense as he got a win. I thought the match was a bit too short as these three could have really gone wild, not Orlando Jordon wild, but you get what I am saying. I am glad Morgan won though as I really think he deserves better. You already know that from reading the past few weeks. Well Morgan is on his way it seems. I am hoping to see Morgan in the Top 10 Ranking next week and then move down month by month! Go get them Matt!
The next match was an Open Invitational Match. The person who was challenging anyone was Jeff Hardy. You all know Jeff Hardy from reading this weeks ago. He has been undefeated on TNA since the beginning of July. It’s past July and now in the middle of August. Who knows who he is fighting and who knows if he can still be undefeated. Well out came Shannon Moore. Moore came out and had a mic in his hand. He said that even though him and Jeff are friends, he always wanted to fight him. He said how they are brothers and it doesn’t matter if it’s win, lose, or draw…..they will still walk out brothers. Well the match started and I was surprised to see Shannon control about 75% of the match. He really took it to the undefeated star. The match went all over the ring….from corner to corner. It also went outside with some high risk moves. It was a great match that lasted for about 7 minutes. After Shannon was in control, Jeff came back and hit a Twist of Fate. He climbed the corner and hit the Swanton Bomb……but Moore put his knees up. When he went to cover Jeff, I thought the match was going to be over…..but it wasn’t. Jeff got another chance a little later and he finally hit the Swanton Bomb to perfection. He got the cover: 1-2-3 and is still undefeated. I am telling you…..Jeff is on a role! If he isn’t the #1 ranked star next week…..I don’t know who is.
Now after that match came the real match that everyone has been anticipating. People all around from different websites said this match was a Match of the Year Candidate. It was Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. Now this was their last match in the Best of 5 Series. We saw a Ladder Match, a Steel Cage Match, a Street Fight, and an Ultimate X…..and now 2 out of 3 Falls. I thought we wouldn’t see a better one than the Ladder Match…..but we saw the Street Fight. I thought we couldn’t see any better….but we saw the Steel Cage. Then came the Ultimate X. Nothing could beat the Ultimate X…..but that statement was wrong. This match just blew me away. It was my favorite match of the night! It lasted over 20 minutes…..what a real match should last. It was back and forth action with the 1st match lasting quite a long time, 2nd match the shortest, and not sure where the 3rd match stood but it was certainly the most exciting. I had no idea who was going to win. Both teams are excellent, but only one is the best. After seeing this match, I do think Machine Guns are the best tag team in the world. They can do every tag team move to perfection and with perfect timing. I do like Beer Money, and think their tag team gimmick is brilliant, but I just don’t see them at the top. Very close 2nd, but Machine Guns past them. I would like to see Roode go as a single’s competitor…..but I want Beer Money to last as long as they can. Keep them heel and keep them big…..that’s all you need for their success. As for Machine Guns…..keep them as a tag team as their singles career can wait. Both teams are the best thing around…..again….best thing AROUND……AROUND the whole world. Sorry Hart Dynasty, but you aren’t in these teams league. Now we saw moves from suicide dives to springboard cross bodies. We saw some double stomp to the chest to DDT on the ring apron. We had seen some double team neckbreaker and powerbomb move and double team neckbreaker and big splash move. Beer Money got the first match, but Machine Guns got the second. Machine Guns got the 3rd and that led to their win. They held the titles high as fireworks exploded above them. Now when we first saw the double team neckbreaker big splash from the Guns at the end of Match 3…..I thought it was over…..but it WASN’T! They kicked out! I couldn’t believe it. My mouth was actually opened as I was shocked. They went to do the move again and they got the 3. One of my favorite parts of the match was when we saw unlimited kicks to each other. I mean you had a super kick from Shelly or Sabin on Storm….but Storm came back with a huge super kick. The other Machine Gun member did some kick and I think Roode came in and did a kick of some sort. Not quite sure how it played out, but it certainly was awesome. The whole match was awesome. I am sad that the Series it over, but I can’t wait what is in store next for these two teams (The ending of TNA gave me some insight for Beer Money).
The last match of the night was purely extreme! It was purely violent and dangerous. It was RVD vs. Abyss for the TNA World Title in a Stairway to Janice Match. Now I wasn’t sure how this match worked. I mean is it a Ladder Match? You get the object that is hanging and you win? I realized that didn’t make much sense…..which isn’t what happened. You can get the weapon and use it but the match was for pins and submissions. Now we saw everything in this match. From ladders to chairs to tacks to glass to barbwire! I mean you usually see ladders or chairs…..but not tacks. You rarely see glass and barely see barbwire….but we saw all of that! Let me say, you can’t find that anywhere else on TV! Not on a Monday Night, Tuesday Night, or Friday Night. To be clearer……you can’t find that on any WWE show. That is why TNA is so special…..that’s why I love TNA! Now the barbwire, tacks, and glass were all used against Abyss….poor man! He got cut up at the arms and face. He was without a doubt bleeding. He wasn’t the only one who took bumps though. RVD did a Rolling Thunder on the bare ladder. RVD got in with the ladder in the face and gut multiple times……but all of that paid off as he got the pin. Abyss may have got Janice, the 2X4 wood with nails sticking out, but that doesn’t mean he won. He lost the match even though he got the weapon. It was certainly a great match…..not only that, a great show. Loved it….just loved it!
Now TNA wasn’t done. As RVD was celebrating in the ring, Hulk Hogan came on the stage. Fireworks exploded in the air for his entrance. The show was advertising that he had a special surprise at the end of the show. Well it’s the end of the show and here he is…..so what is the surprise? Well he wanted to thank RVD for being champ and raising TNA to new heights. He said how much he loved HardCORE Justice. He stated that he respects the EV 2.0 guys even more now. So he had a surprise for Rob. The surprise was to bring the EV 2.0 stars out to the ring one last time to celebrate with RVD on his title victory. All of them came out from Sunday. You had Sabu and Tommy Dreamer. You had Team 3D and Rhino. You had so many stars. (Let me say, HardCORE Justice was a great PPV! I watched it and I enjoyed it from top to bottom. I loved it.) As all of them are in the ring, the lights went out. I thought….oh, here is Sandman. I mean that’s what we saw last week……BUT, BUT, BUT…..then the lights came on, we didn’t see any Sandman. Instead we saw Mick Foley lying on the mat. I had no idea what that was about. Just then people were attacking the EV 2.0 stars. I had no idea what was going on until they showed a close up. It was Fortune. They came in the ring as the lights went out. They had weapons from kendo sticks to hockey sticks to trashcan lids. They took out each and every extreme star. From Sabu to Tommy to Rhino! Team 3D got taken out! Raven came walking down the ramp as the war battled….but Storm was right by the steps. Raven came walking past….but Storm jumped to him and hit him with a beer bottle on the top of the head. Raven fell instantly. Storm worked the glass into his head as Raven got cut open. He then went to Devon Dugley and cut his face open with glass. Everyone was bleeding. It was a scene we never saw before. It was total destruction. While all of the carnage was taking place, Abyss came back down after being backstage and took RVD out of the ring. He carried him to the back. After all of the EV 2.0 stars were down, Ric Flair came down the ramp with a huge smile on his face. The camera cut to backstage where we saw nothing but blood! Rob was lying on the floor with his wrestling gear cut up and blood all over the floor and his body. It was a scene from a murder movie. The camera raised and we saw Abyss holding the bloody Janice! He finally used her and the result wasn’t pretty. Medics came to Rob and he got taken away by an ambulance. We saw Dixie right behind the automobile as it sped away. You can hear her say, “Follow them Terry”…..which is Hulk’s name. Just from that, it makes it so realistic and so reality based! Don’t know who thought of that….Vince Russo or Eric Bischoff…..but realistic gestures aren’t dead yet.
With that being the ending, you can only imagine what next week is going to be like. I can only guess! I mean is “They” that Abyss been saying for months Fortune? What is the condition of RVD? What will happen to the TNA World Title? Not only that, but we are having the new Rankings coming out. It’s certainly going to be a crazy night! You don’t want to miss it! I am leaving you with my Top 5 Rankings for this week, so don’t miss TNA next week as it will be an action packed show that is filled with answers! Don’t forget….TNA’s ReAction is now airing at the end of TNA iMPACT. It started this week and I got to say, it’s great! The way it is filmed is great. It gives the stoylines that reality based situation that I just go crazy for. I recommend it.
The TNA’s Tribune Top 5 Ranking:

1. Motor City Machine Guns- They were 2 last week and I said if they win this week, they would move up to the #1 spot! Well they won and are declared the best tag team in the world! I congratulate them as they truly put on amazing matches! Their match this week…..the best tag team match I’ve possibly ever seen!
2. Jeff Hardy- He was off last week, but here this week and he won AGAIN! He’s undefeated since the beginning of July on iMPACT! He went from #4 last week to #2.
3. Rob Van Dam- He has won another Title Shot. He has fought many stars while he was champion and he defeated them all. He won his toughest challenge yet in a very hardcore bout. Great job. He dropped from #1 last week to #3.
4. Kurt Angle- I was glad to see Kurt Angle in action. Every time he is in action it’s always special. He proved himself why he’s the best ever! He beat Styles and is moving his way down the rankings. He got a spot in ours!
5. Angelina Love- She won the Knockout Title for the 5th time….making her the most decorated knockout in TNA history!

Sorry to Abyss (Ranked 3rd last week) and Taylor Wilde and Hamada (Ranked 5th last week) but both got kicked off the rankings.

1. Cody Rhodes pulls off the pretty-boy gimmick brilliantly, but is absolutely vicious in the ring. Kofi looked great, too. But the two seemed to not communicate very well. Good thing Kane appeared. The match was dwindling.

2. Rey Mysterio’s backstage segment was unbelievably cheesy. He could give Cena a run for his money.

3. I thought Christian was about to shake hands with Death when Drew McIntyre pushed him off the top rope.

4. I hope the WWE’s goal with Alberto del Rio wasn’t to interest me, because if so, it failed. Miserably.

5. It’s such a shame Punk can’t participate in Money in the Bank. He’s easily my favorite Superstar, by far. But here’s a question: why did they unmask him on Smackdown? Why not do something like that at the PPV this Sunday? It doesn’t make sense to me.

6. “I break ex-girlfriends…” Wow. How PG. I like Show’s ladder, though. As a huge Zeppelin fan, I’ve always wondered what the Stairway to Heaven looked like.

7. I don’t know what to do. Trent Barreta (whom I loathe) is teaming up with Layla (whom I like) against Chris Masters (whom I like) and Kelly Kelly (whom I loathe).

8. Matt Hardy’s odds to win the Money in the Bank match are exponential. In reality…yeah, dream big, Matthew.

9. Dolph Ziggler = greatest Twist of Fate sell. EVER.

10. I actually really enjoyed the 619 Rey laid down on Swagger. It was abrupt and ferocious.

Tonight’s episode of Smackdown was mediocre, at best. I can tell the WWE left all the hype for Money in the Bank to the Raw Superstars, which sucks. Seeing Punk unmasked (even though Twitter spoiled that surprise for me) was interesting, and made me chomp at the bit to queue up my DVR. I think Money in the Bank might be an interesting PPV. Here’s hoping I’m right, and will be sober enough to remember it.

1. Jack Swagger has faced the same two people over and over again. What’s a girl have to do for some variety?

2. We’re kicking off the show with Drew groveling and kissing ass. I’ve always been a fan of Drew McIntyre (maybe the accent does it for me?), I just wish he could work out his technical stuff.

3. It’s nice to see Chavo stand on his own two feet against Vickie. He embodies the same exuberance and entertainment as his uncle. WWE needs to quit burying him, even for just one match.

4. When Rey flung his boot at Swagger, I nearly died laughing. I thought it was overkill to drag him through the entire arena in the submission hold. The ankle lock is a vicious move, don’t get me wrong. But it just looks silly.

5. Christian double crosses his partner, Matt Hardy. Can you feel my surprise? For a face, he sure acts and talks like a heel.

6. Are we done with Rosa yet?

7. A message to CM Punk: bro’s before hoes, man. Are they going to break apart the SES already?

8. WHAT the hell is with Cody Rhodes’s new music?! Did I fall into a hot tub time machine and land in the 80’s? It sounds like an atrocious mix of “Livin’ on a Prayer”, “I’m Eighteen”, and “Careless Whisper”…although I LOVE the beginning with the mirror. Cody is really taking off for me. But that music, paired with his nose ring and lisp…really aren’t helping the rumors…

9. Big Show’s back stage segment reminded me of his interview after Eddie Guerrero died, for some reason. And my heart re-broke.

10. Kane, once again, was brilliant. I love when he bellowed “We need to talk!” in Jack’s face. I love big, angry men. Swagger, on the other hand, needs a loooot more practice…

Tonight’s episode of Smackdown superseded the previous week’s by a mile. Each week seems to improve, as I prefer the in-ring action to the corny segments and matches that are clearly focused on entertaining the young folk instead of adults. We’re given longer matches and more feud-extending promos. I’ve enjoyed it very much.

1. Swagger received virtually no response–either positive or negative–upon entering. Is the crowd asleep?

2. A fart joke. On Friday Night Smackdown. Really.

3. They should just get rid of the Intercontinental Championship. The champs never compete for them, feuds last a week, and they’re always doing other high-end matches. Same with U.S. Champions. I hope Dolph gets it, though. He’s been a contender on and off for it since Night Of Champions.

4. Serena Deeb is absolutely abysmal as a talker. As if I didn’t have enough reason to hate her.

5. Christian looks cheek-pinching adorable in that outfit. Great promo. I like the banter between him and Matt. They mirror each other and contradict each other in all the right areas.

6. I love where they have Cody Rhodes right now. He’s cocky, entertaining, and hilarious. Love the “talking into a comb” bit. I’m glad they’re doing something with him.

7. Michelle McTaker looks fierce tonight. But why the hell is Kelly Kelly going over again? Beth needs to return, NOW. I’d rather see Cena with a belt around his waist, than Kelly. At least Cena respects the business.

8. Who is this Alberto del Rio character, and why does he deem it necessary to put me to sleep?

Bonus thought: The promo showing the Nexus destroying John Cena, Bret Hart, Vince McMahon, and the Hall of Famers made me mark out for a minute. I love this angle.

9. Cody was kind of the star of that match. It feels like five minutes ago I had to be reminded that he was even on Smackdown. And here he is, highlighting the main event.

10. I still don’t 100% understand why they’re debuting Swagger’s ankle lock as soon as he loses the belt. I do think it’s funny that he has become the 2010-version of Kurt Angle, just with more hair.

I wanted to do a thought on the SES promo, but the only thing it accomplished was clearing Punk’s name. It was drawn out and only borderline-amusing. Punk was magic in the part he had; Serena, was not. Which brings me to a point…why doesn’t she wrestle? Why do we have three valets with remarkable talent in the WWE (Natalya, Tamina, and Serena) that do not wrestle? I believe the first two have only entered the ring twice, the second of which didn’t even finish. Instead of being hit in the face with bad extensions and silicone implants, why don’t we bring in ladies that can actually, oh I don’t know, wrestle?

Thanks for reading all of that nonsense. If you made it this far, ten cool points for you! Tune in next week. @KELLYFLOYDBRAND

I apologize for the delay of this column! I fell victim to a fever of sorts, and was completely incapacitated. That’s what I get for working with kids. I did, however, watch Smackdown on Friday evening and recorded my thoughts. Here they are!

1. We’re really continuing with the Hardy/McIntyre feud? And Swagger/Show? Seriously? Come on, Smackdown! Freshen up! Get some of the younger guys thrown in there. Smackdown has become the place to experiment what with moving all the “bigger” stars to Raw.

2. Swagger has been given the moniker of “Kurt Swangle”…and now he’s using the ankle lock submission. Irony, how I love thee.

3. Vance Archer, Curt Hawkins, and Dolph Ziggler vs MVP, Christian, and Kofi Kingston. What a cluster-fuck. Way to get that pesky mid-card match out of the way. I’d love to see Kofi and Dolph feud. They have excellent chemistry and are super entertaining in the ring.

4. Matt Hardy just seems to be past his expiration date. I liked him better as a teacher for J-Gabe. He should do something else like that.

5. Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre feels like it’s ten years long. What’s the reason for that? They’re not doing too bad, I’m just getting bored. Here’s hoping this, too, is a blow-off match. It sure seems to be, what with the face going over after such a long struggle between the two. But what’s the deal with Drew getting “deported”? Is this another “for-the-minute” storyline, or is he going to take time off to be with Mrs. McIntyre?

6. Wow! Cody Rhodes is alive on Smackdown! He dug deep into his soul and found a personality. Mazel tov! Great promo though…but am I the only one that thought he bore a striking (or should I say dashing?) resemblance to The Miz when they zoomed in on him in the corner?

7. So, Rosa just got completely squashed by Kelly Kelly…what a sad day. Please don’t tell me Kelly’s getting a title shot. On a side note—Rosa looks PREPOSTEROUS jump-roping.

8. Thank Jesus Kaval is still wearing that shirt.

9. Punk being concise? What the hell? I don’t like it.

10. This main event was very well done. It was a perfect blend of the SES and Kane, even Serena didn’t disappoint. It was nice to see such a strong “monster” like Kane hold his own in what was essentially a 3-on-1 match. It was just enough that it wasn’t too much. And um…hello masked man’s muscles…

I actually enjoyed this edition of Smackdown. It cut the backstage segments down and dedicated more time to in-ring activities. It also appears that we’re in for some fresh feuds. I’m looking forward to seeing Kofi and Dolph tear each other apart.

WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs Sheamus vs Randy Orton vs Edge
Sad as I am to pick him, I think it’s fairly obvious that Cena will retain. The Fatal Fourway is just to messy, and no real feuds have been established. There’s just the lingering feuds that have really come to a point yet. I’d love to see the title change hands…but I’d also love to see Cena retire from wrestling all together. We can’t always get what we want. Can’t wait to see what happens with the Rookies, too!
Winner – John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship
Jack Swagger (c) vs CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio vs Big Show
Thwagger has been the most dull Hvt. Champ in a long time. He doesn’t do a whole lot, and can’t speak worth a damn. His in-ring skills are incredible, but there’s just something lackluster in him. Big Show…I just don’t see it. Rey’s health is kind of up in the air, so I think the safe pick would be CM Punk. Give him something else to brag about. I’d love to see that belt around his waist again. He does well as champ. Expect mayhem from Kane, as well. Who knows if this will even be a clean finish.
Winner – CM Punk

Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs Drew McIntyre
Get your forks, Drew’s kind of done. He’s stuck in a feud with Matt Hardy that isn’t going anywhere, and is stuck pissing and moaning to Teddy. For someone I liked so much, he’s really boring me now. I see this as a blow-off match. Kofi will retain and move on to greener pastures.
Winner – Kofi Kingston

United States Championship
The Miz (c) vs R-Truth
All I can say, is oh my GOD I hope The Miz retains…
Winner – The Miz

Unified Tag Team Championships
The Hart Dynasty (c) vs The Usos
The Usos are brand spankin’ new. They attacked the Hart Dynasty a few times before facing a thrown-together team on Superstars…in their debut. I think this last minute match will be a kill time, and potentially a smoke break, for me.
Winner – The Hart Dynasty

Divas Championship
Eve (c) vs Maryse vs Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox
I. Don’t. Care.
Winner – Me!

Fatal Fourway is 48 hours away...what happened on Friday Night Smackdown?

We’ve now seen all the programming we can get before the Fatal Fourway pay-per-view this Sunday! I’m still fuming that they scheduled a PPV for Father’s Day, but hey, it’s all good.

1. I love watching Punk do what he does best: pissing people off. The Fatal Fourway heels attack Kane, and the babyfaces come to the rescue…only to initiate their own beatdown. Diggin’ Rey’s new shirt! Most people know I like to drink and order stuff online…uh oh!

2. A fatal fourway match is busy and messy to begin with. Why are they incorporating storylines into each World Championship match? Kane and Undertaker? The threat of Rookies? There’s too much going on, let’s see if the stars can pull it off.

3. I’m not sure how I feel about Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer picking up the win. I feel like they’re being forced down my throat.

4. Dolph Ziggler’s short-shorts make me very uncomfortable.

5. Why are we getting endless recaps about stuff Drew McIntyre has done? He hasn’t done anything interesting enough, and he only has a match with Teddy Long. The match itself was as boring as it was pointless. Is this really the best we have for the “Chosen One”?

6. Is Matt in spray-tan rehab? He’s giving Sheamus a run for his money.

7. Kelly Kelly is the main reason no one respects the Divas. Am I the only one that doesn’t think implants and booty shorts make a female wrestler a success?

8. Smackdown needs a world champ that won’t make a fool of himself when he talks.

9. Big Show’s song just doesn’t sound right. He needs to tag with Jericho again so I can hear “Crank The Walls Down”.

10. Punk and Mysterio have such amazing chemistry. I’m sad they’re not doing one on one competition this time, although I’m fairly certain they’re going to be the stars of the match. My money is on Punk winning it all, but we’ll see on Sunday!

Here’s hoping the WWE does something magical with the storylines they’ve placed in our laps. Until then, look for me on Twitter. @KELLYFLOYDBRAND

What happened on tonight's Friday Night Smackdown, with Fatal Fourway only 9 days away!

Hey guys! Kelly here, with my thoughts on the 6/11 edition of Friday Night Smackdown! Enjoy, and let me know what you think! @KELLYFLOYDBRAND

1. Swagger has grown substantially as a wrestler since obtaining the belt. He carries himself better and has definitely matured in the ring. Promo skills still need work, though.

2. I have a strong suspicion that Kane is Undertaker’s attacker. I can’t explain why, I just have a weird feeling.

3. The high-flying Rey vs the low-grappling Jack did not disappoint.

4. Lay-Cool seems to be in an endless feud with Tiffany and Kelly Kelly. Can Melina and Beth Phoenix come back? Soon?

5. Having Vickie Guerrero on the show is just cheap heat. And it can stop at any point.

6. I like the feud between Christian and Dolph Ziggler. They mesh very well for me, and Ziggles continues to impress me.

7. The WWE is milking the positive responses for Kane’s performance last week. It’s becoming too much.

8. Next week, Drew McIntyre vs Teddy Long? Didn’t we already learn from CM Punk and Scott Armstrong that those types of matches are not entertaining? On a side note: if anyone has a good-quality version of Drew’s entrance music, please email it to me!

9. I see big things for Kofi Kingston.

10. An all-around good finish for Punk and Show, predictable as it was. Punk continues to wow me with his entertainment value. He’s not all theatrics, like Cena. He’s the real deal.
